History

Jim Boyd began his commercial real estate career in December 1978. As an independent agent, he worked for Wright-Leasure Company, Idaho's largest commercial brokerage firm in Boise, Idaho at that time.

In October 1994, Mr. Boyd started the J.L.Boyd Company as an independent Brokerage Company to better serve existing clients and expand its base. Over the years, J.L. Boyd Company has served its clients with the assistance of experienced and dedicated associates, later expanding into property management to meet those needs for its clients as well.

In June 2012, J.L. Boyd Company merged Real Estate Brokerage and Property Management services with Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate, which later became TOK Commercial.  This merger was brought about by a change in the primary focus for the J.L. Boyd Company.

Over the years, Jim Boyd has done what he preaches and purchased Income Properties providing a Real Estate Portfolio that delivers monthly cash flow.
