TOK COMMERCIAL HOSTS “BEYOND BOISE” PRIVATE CLIENT EVENT
Boise, ID – TOK Commercial, Idaho’s leading commercial real estate firm, hosted its first private client event on Tuesday, March 12th. The event, titled "Beyond Boise," was held at the Boise State University Stueckle Sky Center and offered presentations and panel discussions focused on how the global marketplace and changes in technology are affecting the economy of the Boise Valley. The event was well attended by approximately 150 prominent members of the community including leaders in industry, education, business, and government.
The event featured a keynote address by Scott Gatzemeier, Corporate Vice President of Front End U.S. Expansion at Micron Technology. Mr. Gatzemeier's presentation focused on Micron’s planned $15 billion investment through the end of the decade in advanced memory manufacturing in Boise, with the construction of a new leading-edge memory manufacturing fab on Micron’s campus. Micron’s expansion is expected to create significant job and business opportunities, further solidifying the Boise Valley's position as a major technology hub. Presentations by TOK firm partners Holly Chetwood, Al Marino, Dan Minnaert, and Peter Oliver highlighted trends and insights into current local Retail, Office, Industrial, and Investment commercial real estate markets.
To conclude the event, TOK Commercial, in honor of Micron Technology, presented a donation of $10,000 to Boise State University’s Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering. The school fosters a collaborative environment with industry to empower students to solve global challenges through materials science innovation. TOK Commercial supports the important work being accomplished by Micron Technology and BSU's Materials Science partnership and hopes to help propel their work into the future.
