Mr. Schlag has been involved in commercial sales and leasing since 1993. Primary areas of focus include investment sales, retail landlord and tenant representation, development consulting services including site assemblage, acquisition and disposition.
Mark started his career in commercial real estate while completing his degree in Seattle, WA. Upon returning to Boise, Mark was recruited by the original founding partners of Thornton Oliver Keller as a retail specialist. A reputation for superior customer service and an ability to creatively approach the objectives of his clients has earned Mark a distinguished reputation within the local industry. A partial list of current and past clients include: Bank of America (Idaho Branch Development and Disposition), Rite Aid Corporation (development and disposition for Idaho), Baja Fresh, Tully’s Coffee, Radio Shack, Chipotle Grill, Wendy’s, Brighton Corporation (400,000 square foot retail portfolio), Buie Stoddard Group (250,000 square foot retail portfolio), J. R. Simplot Company, Kreizenbeck Constructors (90,000 square foot Class A), Key Bank, and Auto Zone. Additional transaction experience is available upon request.
Mark graduated from Seattle University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a double emphasis in Finance and Economics (1993).

Professional and Community Activities
Mr. Schlag maintains membership within the following organizations: International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce (transportation committee), and Nampa Chamber of Commerce and the CCIM Institute as the former President of the Idaho Chapter of CCIM.

Family, Hobbies, and Interests
Mark resides in Boise with his two boys Colton (13) and Connor (11). An avid outdoorsman, Mark’s time away from the office is spent with family and friends fly-fishing, skiing, running, backpacking and pursuing all that the Idaho outdoors have to offer.
