Experience  

Grove has been working in commercial real estate since 1978. After working in the Bay Area, California, he moved to Idaho in 1992. Grove brought his years of real estate experience to Thornton Oliver Keller in 2002 where he specializes in investment sales and office leasing.  Grove is also a partner in the company.

Grove’s real estate career began at Coldwell Banker in 1978, where he listed and sold apartments in San Francisco. Working for Tishman West, one of the country’s top 10 office developers, from 1986 to 1992, Grove was responsible for marketing 1.5 million square feet of suburban and high-rise office space in the Bay Area and represented the landlord on a single lease for over 250,000 square feet. Later, Grove served as Regional Director of Business Development involving construction, property management and acquisitions in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

Grove left the Bay Area in 1992 and brought his breadth of experience to Idaho working in investment and land sales and leasing. In Idaho, Grove worked for the Sundance Company leasing their 40 acre Blackeagle Business Center and marketing the new, at the time, 80 acre Silverstone Corporate Center and the El Dorado Business Campus, as well as numerous Fortune 1000 companies, city, county, state and federal agencies, as well as non-profit companies in securing leased space in the area.

 

Education

Grove graduated from St. Mary’s College, California with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He went on to do post graduate work in Marketing at Golden Gate University.

 

Professional and Community Activities

Grove served as BOMA President in 1997 and 1998 as well as various BOMA board offices and positions and was responsible for creating the BOMA Real Estate Symposium which draws over 400 attendees annually. Grove is past President of the Idaho Chapter for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). In addition, Grove served as a trustee for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and was a soccer coach in the Boise Treasure Valley Premier Soccer League.  Currently, he is a Trustee for the Boise Capitol Soccer Club in the Treasure Valley.
