Ben Zamzow retail property sales and leasing specialist



Experience

Mr. Zamzow joined Thornton Oliver Keller in 2006. He focuses exclusively on shopping center leasing, tenant representation and investment sales.

Ben manages the leasing activities for 25+ shopping centers with gross leasable area of greater than 1,000,000 square feet.   In 2010, Ben completed 44 transactions for a total consideration of $9,300,000.

Ben has an outstanding local and regional reputation for diligence, proactive marketing, and a thorough understanding of the retail site selection process. 

Ben serves as the Idaho Government Relations Chairman for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

 

Education

Ben holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designations, widely regarded as the industry’s two most notable designations.  Ben is one of fewer than 50 individuals in the country to possess both the CCIM and CLS.

Ben is a graduate of Bishop Kelly High School (Valedictorian) and the University of Puget Sound (Summa Cum Laude, Honors Business & Economics).  At UPS, Ben was an active member of the debate team, an executive member of student government, and held numerous leadership positions in his fraternity.

Ben is a 2012 candidate for a Masters of Business Administration from Boise State University, taking evening courses with an emphasis in financial modeling and entrepreneurship.  His studies have been funded by the  ICSC Charles Grossman Graduate Scholarship.

Hobbies and Interests

Ben is a 4th generation Idahoan and enjoys camping, fly-fishing, rafting, hiking and cycling.  An avid traveler, Ben has visited over 25 countries for the purpose of education, volunteering, and backpacking.
